On Thursday, we partnered with a group of S. Korean believers to host a meal and “music festival” for about 120 Muslim refugees. I shuttled folks to/from their camps to a German-Russian Baptist Church retreat center.
I had no idea what was going on. It seemed a bit chaotic, with a lot of strange music and dancing, high energy volleyball games, and much laughter. A Pakistani believer and an Iranian believer each shared their testimonies towards the end of the evening. I don’t know what they said because English was the one language that wasn’t being translated into.
I was told 6 people turned from Islam and professed Christ that evening.
We had over 10 nations represented at this festive gathering. Incredible to see this and be a part of it.
Pics from the retreat coming later.
